Production Assistant

Differdange, Luxembourg

 Roles and responsibilities

As a member of the studio's management team, you will participate in the supervision of all operations and fabrication step for a 2D or 3D feature film production, from the pre-production phase through postproduction until delivery of the completed work.

  • Monitoring and track the production schedule in accordance with the progress and deadlines.
  • Communicate with Production Managers and/or Production coordinators at the coproduction’s partners’ studios to ensure that the departments outputs are aligned with the production schedule.
  • Manage asset transfers between the different artistic departments and partner studios using various tools such as Shotgrid, Kitsu, FTP, etc.
  • Use production tasks scheduling/tracking tools and anticipate needs for incoming tasks.
  • Track production progress.
  • Communicate and work closely with the Heads of the other production department: Artistic supervisors, Technical Directors and Administration, etc.
  • Participate in meetings with the team on a weekly basis.
  • Communicate and work alongside the Administration team.

 

Skills and requirements

  • Excellent command of written and oral English and French.
  • Ability to work on different tasks at the same time.
  • Ability to adapt to and learn how to use new software and tools (Shotgrid, kitsu, DaVinci, etc.).
  • Pro-active, anticipating mind and solution oriented.
  • Very good organization and rigor in the work.
  • Knowledge of MS Office, with very good knowledge of Google sheets.
  • Knowledge of animation workflow processes, both 2D & 3D from pre-production to post-production will be a plus.
  • First experience in an animation studio is a plus.

It should d be noted that for this film all the people selected for the position will have to work on site in Differdange under a Luxembourg employment fixed-term contract. This implies residing in Luxembourg or in the « Grande Région » (part of Germany, Belgium and the Lorraine region in France are part of the « Grande Région »).
